FANTASTIC!

SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND KEEP THIS MOMENTUM GOING.

Sarah Palin will do whatever it takes to gain more power. She is dangerous and we don't want her to sneak back in to the National scene.

Impeachment has a nice ring to it. Don't you think?

Thanks Shannyn.

Great information, I thought Alaska went to sleep. The latest word is Palin 2012 for pres., OMG I hope not. Alaska please dont fall asleep. I was livid when McCain thought using Palin to promote his failing campaign would work and his disrespect for women. But when Palin campaigned so negativily I was shocked. When main stream media did not covered how Alaskians felt I though omg they all in on supporting her lies. Well that will teach me. Thanks Alaska for holding on to truth and respect. Keep up the work do not quit. I agree, send a loud message that politicians will be held accountable.

The following is an email sent from a Democratic supporter!!!

Dear supporter ,

Hi, my name is Roger Fisk and I'm the State Director for the Obama campaign here in Massachusetts. I want to tell you about an exciting program we're launching called Camp Obama.
During these training sessions, people like you will be taking their support for Barack to the next level by learning the (Alinsky) organizing principles that this campaign and our movement for change are built on.
Camp Obama attendees will receive real world organizing experience that will have a direct impact on this election. Graduates of Camp Obama will go on to become Deputy Field Organizers who will lead this campaign to victory in crucial battleground states around the country.
Find out more about this exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in this movement for change.
By participating in Camp Obama, you'll get the kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago, where he learned that real change happens from the bottom up.
That experience transformed Barack's life and made him who he is today.
Camp Obama is your chance to put those very same principles into action -- to win this election and to strengthen democracy in communities around the country.
After completing the program, you'll be required to work as a Deputy Field Organizer in a battleground state where you'll organize supporters and help lead our grassroots Get Out The Vote operation.
Apply for a spot at Camp Obama and become a leader in our movement for change:
This campaign relies on the passion and enthusiasm of ordinary supporters, but it needs leaders who can organize these supporters and turn their enthusiasm into votes on Election Day.
Camp Obama is your chance to step up and become a leader in this movement.

Thanks,

Massachusetts State Director
Obama for America

The Alinsky way...

Rules for Radicals
In 1971, Saul Alinsky wrote an text on grassroots organizing titled Rules for Radicals. Those who prefer cooperative tactics describe the book as out-of-date. Nevertheless, it provides some of the best advice on confrontational tactics. Alinsky begins this way:
What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.
His "rules" derive from many successful campaigns where he helped poor people fighting power and privilege
For Alinsky, organizing is the process of highlighting what is wrong and convincing people they can actually do something about it. The two are linked. If people feel they don’t have the power to change a bad situation, they stop thinking about it.
According to Alinsky, the organizer -- especially a paid organizer from outside -- must first overcome suspicion and establish credibility. Next the organizer must begin the task of agitating: rubbing resentments, fanning hostilities, and searching out controversy. This is necessary to get people to participate. An organizer has to attack apathy and disturb the prevailing patterns of complacent community life where people have simply come to accept a bad situation. Alinsky would say, "The first step in community organization is community disorganization."
Through a process combining hope and resentment, the organizer tries to create a "mass army" that brings in as many recruits as possible from local organizations, churches, services groups, labor unions, corner gangs, and individuals.
Alinsky provides a collection of rules to guide the process. But he emphasizes these rules must be translated into real-life tactics that are fluid and responsive to the situation at hand.
Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people. The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. "You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."
Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. "If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic."
Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage."
Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.
Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, "Okay, what would you do?"
Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.
According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. "The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength."
"Ridicule is man"s most potent weapon."

After looking at the Alaska proObama sites I wonder how many of you are Camp Obama graduates???

I just watched the interview Ms. Moore did for MSNBC on Gov. Palins church affiliations, and am extremely concerned. I live in the Tampa Bay area, and we have a large Wiccan/Pagan community. By large, I mean it is about the size of the whole town of Wasilla. I believe in our freedom of religion, until that freedom is used to undermine or even attack another's beliefs. Gov.Palin obviously condones her Pastor/church's "Witch Hunt" beliefs and tactics, to what end? Should we Witches here in Florida and across the nation get ready for another burning time?
Thank you Ms.Moore for bringing this to our attention, the clip is making its rounds in plenty of time to assist in our decision making at the polls.

In Alaska-- of all places-- shouldn't government be as open as the horizon? Best wishes in your fight to make it so.

Thank God for exposing how Alaskans are fighting for truth. Sarah Palin had me rethinking ever coming to Alaska but now I see she doesn't represent the truth squads in Alaska.
How come no one from the big networks show what you good people are doing and saying. I know Fox won't, not ever but contact CNN and MSMBC. Please get your stories out there PLEASE before she wrecks our entire country.

Way to go group! You know though, if Obama wins in November, you get her back! What are you going to do with her then?

Good luck to you all, I wish you the best.

Wow! I love it. Thank you showing the rest of the world what's really going on in Alaska. This bought tears to my eyes to see that the people in Alaska are fighting for truth and justice. Beautiful! Keep up the fight. We will prevail.

Much love from Maryland

Thank u for showing those of us in the lower 48 that there are actually non-partisan people living in Alaska. I am sorry to say I do not know much about your great state, except for the beautiful scenes I've seen in photos or TV. Now, at least through your website I see that there are actually intelligent, thoughtful, and most importantly morally upright citizens of the world.
