A hard-hat diver…helmet divers..can only go down to 2000ft so far; this last depth was recent by a Navy guy testing THAT depth out.
It is not usual, or normal, to dive that deep.
Why in hell would oil rigs be let that deep?
Where no human can reach them.
So we can ‘count’ on the robots? who–correct me if Im wrong–run on some kind of electricity..to do the repair work in waters murky enough in any event.
The first response should be…cant reach it by humans, dont drill it.
