OMG! THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Alaska could go for OBAMA!

I won’t believe any of the polls until Wednesday, but this is amazing. George W. Bush won Alaska by 24 points in 2004. He got 61% of the vote. Kerry had a sad show of 37%. This is the newest information coming in from Hayes.

Painting a red state BLUE!

In this survey 400 respondents across the State of Alaska were asked who they would vote for in the Presidential, Congressional and Senate races. We also asked how perceptions of Gov. Sarah Palin have changed since she was selected as the Vice Presidential candidate.

The following questions were paid for and released by Hays Research Group, and not done on behalf of any individual, candidate, or group.

Question 1

If the election for United States President and Vice President were held today and the candidates were: John McCain and Sarah Palin, or Barack Obama and Joe Biden, for whom would you vote?

(IF UNDECIDED:) Well, toward whom do you lean?

McCain/Palin 46.6%
Undecided – Lean McCain/Palin 1.7%
Obama/Biden 43.9%
Undecided – Lean Obama/Biden 0.7%
Other Candidate 2.0%
Don’t Know / Refused 5.1%

  1. Re: Obama/Biden 43.9%

Not bad at all… am opitmistic Alaska will one day turn blue.

  2. Wow! Within 3 pts. Seemingly within the margin of error?

  3. wow, Wow, WOw, WOW!

  4. Holy Smokes! YES, WE CAN!

  5. You go Alaska… paint it blue… that would really set Sarah on her ear. What a way to welcome her home…lol

  6. HA! electoral-vote.com still shows alaska [as of oct. 30] at 58% mc cain and 40% obama. i know it has to be a lot closer than that.

  7. AK-Hang in there!! It is heart warming that folks are sharing info and opinions and the hoi poloi are coming to the realization that Palin could give a rat’s ass about governance. We should have MORE sincere, dedicated public servants due to population growth, not LESS.Hopefully,AK’s future political leaders will be inspired and will remember a seminal moment in their lives-when they saw Palin for who and what she was and used that horrifying realization as a springboard…

  8. Oh ya! This is what we’ve been waiting for! Blue is my favorite color for 2008 and we can do it! Contact everyone you know and get them out to vote. Every vote counts and it is so very important this year. This will send a great message to the Gov. and it’s goodbye to Stevens and Young. See the entire survey at:

  10. After seven years of criminality and emotional duress, I know I will break out in tears when I hear Obama is our next president. My children’s future depends on it.

Then, if Alaska turns blue, I’m gonna need a gallon of water to keep hydrated. And lots of beer too! Moose’s Tooth everyone!

Quite honestly, I feel this is the most defining and important time of my entire life.

    Yes we can.

  11. Sorry for the duplication. I didn’t think it went through. I’m new at this!

  12. anybody reading the Huffington Post.com or post-election comments by Fox News reporters re: Sarah…how lucky this country is to have elected Obama…

    • I agree with you C that our country is “lucky” to “have elected Obama……” A common man to bring back Common Grounds for all Americans.

  13. oops…did not think it went through…will sign off thank you…
