David Linck, is the Unit Publicist for Everybody Loves Whales, currently in production in Alaska starring Drew Barrymore, Ted Danson and Kristin Bell. He has over 25 years of experience and has worked on over 60 films, including Brokeback Mountain, American Beauty, City Slickers, and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
Dave Worrell is the state manager of The Alaska Film Office.
Dana Stabenow is the author of 27 novels, many of which are set in Alaska, including the Kate Shugak series. The 18th novel in the series, Though Not Dead, will be released in February, and the series has been optioned by Mike Devlin of Evergreen Films, with the object of turning it into a cable television series to be broadcast worldwide. The television series is currently in pre-production.
Senator Johnny Ellis was first elected in 1992. He is the Senate Majority Leader. Senator Ellis sponsored legislation that provided tax breaks designed to lure filmmakers to Alaska and make the state competitive with other film locations.
