I just got in from the Anchorage Barack Obama Rally. Trying to warm up. I love Alaska! An effort started several years ago to paint
a Red State BLUE….I have hope. Amazing.

Hi Shannyn,
I’ve heard you a couple of time on the Thom Hartman show. Just want to say that I greatly respect your stand and support of Senator Obama and Senator Biden.
I am a retired Army veteran who knows in his soul of souls that the future of American depends on electing Senator Obama as President and Senator Biden as Vice President. As Senator Biden said Thursday night.
“This is the most important election you will ever, ever have voted in, any of you, since 1932. And there’s such stark differences, I would follow through on Barack’s policies because in essence, I agree with every major initiative he is suggesting.”
It is imperative that we all work as hard as we can to see that our country is again governed by honorable men and women who do put “Country First” and not just another political platitude used to mask the continuing policies of a failed Republican Party.
Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on doing what do because it is morally appropriate to do it–not simply for personal gain and/or misguided lust for undemocratic power and opaque nefarious purposes a la ‘1984’ speak.
Power to the people!

Yes I see as well that Todd may testify…only problem…by the time he and the others do, it might to late for the truth.
November 4th is coming fast and all he has to do is plead the fifth or the attorney adds him and the other 12 into a new appeal.
It could drag on long after the election and they could already be in the white house.
I am in the lower 48 and it worries me that I might wake up November 5th with a 6 pack and a dude in bed next to me.
I am better then that, please vote BLUE!!!

The ADN should give the rally equal coverage. The “Palin” rally was actually a GOP rally.
Excellent attendance.

i love it… i saw pics of the mccain/palin rally, too, which were so LOL; more empty chairs than people. that, if nothing else, speaks volumes about what sarah palin is willing to throw away to appease her ambition…
i *LOVED* your story for the huffington post… i am so happy that the “evil MSM” is picking up some of the voices coming from alaska… here is the URL for those who haven’t seen it yet: http://tinyurl.com/4aaxq7

Collective guilt is borne by what is conventionally called the scapegoat. Now the scapegoat for white society – which is based on myths of progress, civilization, liberalism, education, enlightenment, refinement – will be precisely the force that opposes the expansion and the triumph of these myths. This brutal opposing force is supplied by the Negro.FrantzFanonFrantz Fanon

todd is testifying but not as part of the investigation — todd is testifying before palin’s hand-picked board.

Well, I don’t think that it will be even remotely close in Alaska, unfortunately. I really have come to respect Alaskan Democrats for their tenacity though, it’s wonderful that they have made themselves visible. Maybe Democrats can build on this up there, and make some serious inroads.

I heard this morning on the news as pundits talked and I have a question?
When and if(I am a little superstitious) Obama wins and Palin has to come back to Alaska, what happens???
She is McCain’s pit bull and pulling every slander string she can, how will her political career fair then?
Obama/Biden ’08
One other thought I just heard as to how well/bad she did on the debate: If you have to ask the question “What do you take me for”…then you are asking the wrong question and also asking the same question to McCain as to his judgement.
Because, if you have to wiggle your hips, wink at me and use childish language to try to tell me you qualify for the greatest level job in the world, I wonder, is that how you got your other jobs.
