DPS’s Response to Les Gara Request

 

The Division of the Alaska State Troopers received a request from Representative Les Gara requesting that AST look into allegations of Witness Tampering in regards to the legislative investigation into the firing of Former Commissioner Walt Monegan.

 

Below is a statement from Col. Audie Holloway, Director of the Division of the Alaska State Troopers:

“Yes, we received a letter from Rep. Gara requesting AST investigate allegations of Witness Tampering. We have multiple people in the Department of Public Safety evaluating the request. It is a complicated issue with various aspects that must be considered carefully. A decision is expected within a few days. We need to be very deliberate and circumspect in our response.”

 

It looks like the Department is taking this seriously. I’m glad. We could get our state back from the McPalin Stormtroopers! Keep the Faith!
